Social Bookmarking Question

What's another way we can organize your computers? What about email? Your Favorite Websites? Your Blog Posts? RSS Feeds?

Another way to organize info on our computers can be folders. Tags are helpful, but you can't use the on you computer files. Or can you? If you add all of the "tags" you want into the name of the document and search your computer for it, you will be able to have all of the key files you are looking for. In your email, you can use folders, but not tags that I know of, so it wont be as ideal for your convenience. For your favorite websites, Diigo. Enough said.  For your blog
Posts, you can also organize in folders like emails. RSS Feeds can be organised on an e reader, like Digg.

Tech Article 12-13

Mustbin

Mustbin is a new app that was created with the help of my cousin, Michael Sollami. It is an app where you can create "bins" to either keep to yourself, or share with certain friends and family. An example would be, making a bin for Christmas, than adding pictures, text documents, or other things Christmas related to that bin. So if you have a Christmas party, you can add all of your family, and take pictures and add them to the folder, so everyone can access them easily.

Do Now 12/3

Twitter and Instagram can be used for many educational purposes. Using hash tags can organize info into easy to find "groups" so to say. Let's say a person from your class wants to show everyone a cool article. They can post the article with a hash tag of let's say #Period2. Now everyone in the class can easily find said article in no time.  The same goes with a picture on Instagram. Just hash tag it something like #Period2, and it can be easily found. These apps can be used for education as much as for personal use.
