Multimedia Post

I am in a great chemistry class, and I am taught by none other than Mr. Maniscalco, or Mr. Man for short.  I have his class 8th period, so it's a great way to top off the school day. Before teaching at Wood-Ridge, he taught physics at 4 colleges (St. Peters College, Rutgers University, American College of Radiology, and American College of Medical Physics), one other high school (Cliffside Park) and worked at four hospitals (V.A. Medical Center, Christ Hospital, Pascack Valley Hospital, and Nyack Hospital). Yeah, he really gets around.

I always look forward to his class. There isn't even anything special, like field trips or anything. I just always have fun in his class.I have a bunch of friends there and he is lenient on talking, so we have great conversations, with Mr. Man included. He is also very funny, and I am normally laughing 90% of his class period. It is very entertaining, and just a great overall class to be in.

Technology is used everywhere, including Mr. Man's chemistry honors class. We did a lab last week where we measured the length, width, and height of a metal block, then calculated the volume. Then, we calculated the volume differently, using water displacement. We then got a percent error, and are now writing a lab report on the project. To top off the post, here is a science related video:
